Now i can open my tail gat on my 2018 toyota Tacoma without hitting my trailer jack

First, let me say that eTrailer is fast, easy, and well-priced. Just received this ball mount and tried it on my Tacoma pulling a Jayco Jay Feather 17C hybrid. Works like a charm. The only issue is that the bike tires MAY hit the dual propane tanks if I really jack knife, but I can probably strap the tires together to avoid it.

I ordered this item with standard ground delivery. 'etrailer' upgraded my order, and delivered in 3 days. The product looks high quality, but I was hoping for more clearance between the upper and lower receivers. It's difficult to attach the trailer when the bike rack is in place.

Longer stinger let me drop the tailgate on my Tacoma with trailer attached. Replaced a similar but shorter Curt hitch and both are very substantial and well made for the weight of my trailer.

I purchased this unit to extend the trailer jack handle just far enough that I could open the tailgate on my truck with the trailer attached. It worked perfect. I tow a pop-up camper with 2006 Toyota Tacoma. Pricing was good and delivery was quick from etrailer. At first I tried to buy locally from auto parts store or camper store, but neither had in stock anything the right dimensions. The unit from etrailer is made in the USA, fit just right, and was better quality than what I saw locally.

I'm going to be moving soon and I have a new truck. I bought a hitch kit and extendable rear view mirrors for towing. They were well packaged and delivered quicker than I expected. I was surprised when I noticed that the hitch, wiring harness, and the towing starting kit had arrived a day sooner than estimated. Total install time for the hitch and wiring harness was no more than an hour because I took my time and wanted to route everything perfectly, no drilling or fancy tools needed. The build quality on all these products is fantastic (no wonder it's one of their most popular items) If you're on the market for a hitch and wiring harness combo and anything else regarding towing I say give etrailer.com a try. Just what i needed to get my trailer back far enough so my trailer jack would not hit my tailgate on my 2016 Toyota Tacoma,,,,,and i also installed a Malone hitch tightener,,,,so now i have more room for the jack and everything is tight and quite,,,,,should have did this along time ago,,,,,both are great products,,,,fast shipping also......Thanks

The ball mount arrived undamaged and in a very timely manner. It is exactly as described and worked well for my application. I was very impressed with how fast this item arrived and the care given to the packaging. Other online sites have sent me similar items packaged so poorly that they frequently received damage. But etrailer staff were extremely diligent about how to package a heavy item, therefore no damage. Will certainly use etrailer again.

I own and tow three trailers with three different ball sizes so this is a cure all. This is a perfect match for my Toyota Tacoma pickup truck. I like how it stores up out of the way. No more skinned legs from bumping it. Pro: Nice looking, durable, heavy duty, pamphlet with it including some white grease for the pins, easy to fill out on-line warranty. Etrailer was fast shipping and kept me informed about a delivery date. Con: None

A great product that works as advertised. My 19 Tacoma still has 10" of ground clearance and 8" when using the 2" ball fully dropped, all of this is without a load.
