When you’re not towing, the only thing visible are the base plate tabs—no bulky crossbar or protruding brackets. Snap-on tab covers provide a cleaner look and protect the tabs from dirt and debris. The high-density polyethylene covers even help cushion a bump if you happen to walk into the front end, keeping both your shins and the hardware in good shape.
This kit is designed for a simple bolt-on install using the included instructions and hardware. There’s no welding involved, and the mounting points are set up for a secure fit to your vehicle’s chassis. It’s a good match for anyone who prefers to handle their own setup without extra fabrication work.
If you’re using a Demco tow bar, this base plate kit connects directly. For other brands, Demco offers adapters (sold separately) that let you keep your existing tow bar instead of starting from scratch. The electrical bracket on the kit also gives you an easy spot to mount a round connector plug so your wiring stays tidy and ready to hook up.
The distance between brackets is 24" center to center, and bracket height is 15-1/2". These measurements make it easier to plan your setup and ensure everything lines up properly when connecting your tow bar and wiring equipment.

Have not used it yet, but probably the easiest thing to install just simple three bolts. and I don’t believe that you could find anybody to ship something. Any faster.
These were a perfect fit for my 2026 Sierra 2500HD. The instructions are in desperate need of being updated. I was able to complete the installation without removing the grill and bumper. All that was required was the removal of the tow hook and enlarging the facia hole to accommodate the baseplate.
Great service - ordered Sunday night, delivered Wednesday lunch time, installed Wednesday afternoon. Excellent information, instructions - took about 4 hours, had to file 2 bolt holes a slight bit, but the fit was very good.
I am very happy with the baseplate and would recommend it to anyone.

This is the second time we've ordered these kits. They work very well for our needs, staff is very helpful and responsive, and shipping is fast.
Received on time and installed as directed. I'm 78 and only had one problem, that of having to bend down a tab on the vehicle frame. Had to go buy a punch. However, the left base plate front holes for the tow bar attaching pin was not in alignment. The pin would not go through. Contacted etrailer and received a replacement in no time. Removed the bad one and reinstalled the new one. Then took the vehicle to my hitch guy for brake wiring. He double checked my work and said everything was in great order and a good fit. With the virus lockdown, I have not towed other than home from getting the brakes set up. But that worked ok.

They fit our 2007 Hummer H-3 perfectly. Very easy to install and appear to be well built. We have only used them for a test pull and they worked perfectly.
Just sold the Tracker that the base plate was installed on but it had several thousand miles of towing on it with no problems . Installation was not too difficult , and it hardly showed . Seems a bit expensive for what it is , but it is custom made so I get it . Very heavy duty steel with the bonus of it actually reinforces the front end of the Tracker .
The kit was easy to install. Quality control could be better. I wasted time trying to get the frame mounts fitted, because they had them labelled backwards. Some of the nuts they supplied were the wrong thread. It has a real good thick paint job. But that tends to make things hard to put together. I had to sand down the Falcon adapters. I also had to modify the fog light spoiler, but that was a given as it is a rare option. All in all, it looks good and works fine.

Haven't been able to install due to the weather. However it appears to be as described and I expect that like all Demco baseplates it will be a perfect fit.
Customer service was great. The base plate arrive in great condition. It took two of us 2 and half hours to put it on the Jeep. The only negative but not a major one is the two plastic covers for the tow ears fall off. Thanks for a great product
The product was delivered to fit the vehicle as expected and the installation instructions were well done. Everything went well.
Reviewing the video on the website I was able to get my grill and bumper off to install the baseplate.
I had one issue with a screw bracket but one call to etrailer got a replacement put in the mail to me.
Very minor trimming of the bumper to get it back on over the base bracket.
The finished look is great, of course you can see the base plate but it blends in nicely and looks professional.
The blueox hitch fits perfectly on the base plate.
No more having to deal with my mastertow dolly and man handling where to put it after we get to the campground, and no more having to ratchet the tires to the dolly.
Now we are looking forward to taking my jeep with us on trips, just release the 2 pins to detach, no more back breaking of pushing the tow dolly anymore
