Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Andersen Aluminum Rapid Hitch with greaseless alumiball, two-ball mount for your 2.5-inch trailer hitch receiver. Now, this lightweight, yet tough aluminum adjustable ball mount is designed for heavy duty towing and the greaseless alumiball is going to keep things smooth and mess-free. It's made to stay smooth and easy to use, so you're gonna spend less time cleaning and more time towing. So as I stated, this is made to fit into your 2.5-inch trailer hitch receiver. And this mount is built for towing heavier loads.

So this is gonna be ideal for boat trailers, campers, or heavy duty trailers. And this is going to come, obviously, with two ball sizes. You're gonna get the two-inch and the 2 5/16-inch ball. And with the 2 5/16-inch ball, the gross towing weight's gonna be 12,500 pounds. With a two-inch ball, it's gonna be 10,000 pounds.

And this has a maximum tongue weight of 1,500 pounds. So this mount is adjustable, allowing you to raise or lower the ball to match the height of your trailer. This is going to be especially useful if you tow different types of trailers with varying coupler heights. And so this is gonna be very easy to adjust. As you can see, the ball platform easily slides up and down the shank.

And currently, I have this on the two-inch ball. I'm going to flip this over to the 2 5/16 inch ball. By the way, I just wanted to show you that that combo ball is held in place in the ball platform by pin there in the center. So just swap this out, and then you're gonna be able to set that height wherever you need it. And I'm just going to slide that in right there and then replace the clip here.

So as you can see, you're not going to be struggling at the back of your truck to get the ball size or the height adjustment that you need. It's gonna be very easy to change that and swap this all out. Now, this is going to give you a maximum drop in this orientation of four inches and then when you flip this over, you'll get a maximum rise also of four inches. You'll have an incremental height adjustment of one inch. And so as you saw, it's gonna be very easy to adjust. This is constructed of high quality aluminum, so it's going to resist rust and corrosion while being strong, yet lightweight. Some measurements that you might be interested in the distance from the center of our ball to the center of our first hitch pin hole is about eight inches. Moving to the center of the second hitch pin hole, about 9 5/8 inches. So this is gonna be great for truck owners who tow multiple trailers of different heights, those who are looking for a virtually, a maintenance-free hitch with no greasing required because of that greaseless alumiball ball, people looking for a lightweight yet strong hitch option, or basically anyone who frequently toes in harsh weather conditions, and is looking for that rust and corrosion-resistance.
