Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we can gonna take a look at this Performance Tool 12 volt DC 1/2" drive impact wrench. Now if you've ever had a flat and cannot manage to get the lug nuts off, this would be a nice tool to have with you. This is powered by your vehicle's 12 volt DC outlet. This is a half inch drive impact wrench that could get you outta that jam very quickly. Now this will include everything laid out here on the table.
Comes with the 12 volt impact wrench, the two double-sided impact sockets, a spare fuse, and a nice plastic carrying case to keep everything all together. Now the impact wrench itself delivers a maximum of 250 foot pounds of torque to quickly remove and reattach your lug nuts. The cord is a 12-foot-long power cord. This is capable of reaching all four wheels in many vehicles, and it is designed to plug into most all the 12 volt power outlets that are out there. Inside of this plug, we do have an inline fuse, which will protect your wrench and your vehicle, and they even include a spare fuse.
Now this is designed to work with most common SAE and metric lug nut sizes. Mentioned the two double-sided impact rated sockets are included. And the socket sizes it'll cover, if we take this one and they're stamped on here, if you do the 7/8", that's gonna be the larger one down here. It'll work on a seven eight inch SAE, or 23 millimeter metric size. The 13/16, which is this side up here, it'll be either a 13/16 SAE or a 21 millimeter metric size.
And in the other one, if you do the 3/4" right down here, or a 19 millimeter in the metric. And up here is the 11/16 or a 17 millimeter metric. So you pretty much cover all the commons lug nut sizes. It will also accept other 1/2" drive sockets, they are not included. The drive size, again, 1/2", power cord length of 12 feet, and the weight on this impact is just a little over five pounds.
And just to show you how this will all go in this plastic case, if we open the case up, you can see that you can take your double-sided sockets, they'll snap right into place. There's even a little area that you can pop in that spare fuse that'll hold it in place, and then put your whole unit in. You just sort of go with the design that's in there, put that all down there, and then just close it, snap it, and it's all ready to go, just like that.
