These are 1/4” which don’t match the Yakima replacement bolts (5/16”). Yes, they are marked on the site as 1/4” and I ordered them along with the 5/16” replacement bolts only figuring out the problem when they arrived. However, it seems etrailer would stock both sizes match instead of the tow component parts in non-matching sizes. Fortunately, I had 4 stainless steel 5/16” nuts lying around and was able to insert them into the hex key without problem. Poor site management by etrailer.

Perfect. I had an older Yakima rack system but when fitting on a newer car with factory racks the old bolts broke. I found bolts but needed to replace the "Hex Key" to make installation and removal easier. Yakima now uses metric (m6 bolts) but these older style are 1/4" and work perfect.
Excellent. Product was exactly what we needed. We needed this to replace the hardware on our ski rack.
Quickly attaches my hullyrollers to my bars...I just drop them sometimes.
