Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a brief look at this replacement power cord for your Kats heaters immersion and block heaters. This six foot long cord is going to replace the removable cord on your Kats heaters vehicle heater. This is the direct replacement for oil and coolant immersion heaters and most diesel frost plug style block heaters. This is compatible with other 120 volt block heaters that have the two prong plugs and it connects to the heater with the 90 degree molded female end. So I happen to have one of those compatible heaters here. Lemme just give you a brief demonstration of how this is going to work.
So I'm just gonna make sure I have that plugged in all the way. It does include this nut. Make sure I have that threaded on there correctly. So as you can see, that's going to tighten that down into the heater. So this is going to be a very simple installation.
And then you're just going to route this cord through your grill and plug it into your standard 120 volt AC outlet or extension cord. This is made here in the USA. It is CSA approved, and this is good up to 1800 watts and up to 15 amps. And this is constructed of 16 gauge wire. Well that's gonna conclude our brief look today.
