Video Transcript for An In-Depth Look at the Custer Light Mounting Box

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Custer Light Mounting Box. This mounting box protects a single exterior light from the elements. It's constructed from of a welded aluminum construction. It's nice and light weight. It's also going to do a great job at resisting rust and corrosion, and it's very strong and durable. It's got the diamond plate pattern that adds a rugged look.

The light box would look great on your trailer. You would mount a six and a half inch trailer light, using part number A70GB. Which, is a PVC grommet for a six and a half inch oval trailer light that it sold separately. You can find it at Etrailer.com. This can be a weld on, or bolt on, instillation. I do want to point out that there are no pre-drilled mounting holes.

You could also use some self tapping screws for the instillation. Really, whatever works best for your application. A few measurements to go over with you real quick. The oval hole is going to give us a measurement this direction, edge to edge, of six and three quarters of an inch. Going this direction, that's going to measure two and a half inches. Taking a look at the overall measurements.

Going this direction first, it's going to be eight and a half inches. Measuring the height of the unit is going to be three and three quarters of an inch tall. Then, measuring the depth, that's going to measure three and a half inches. That's going to do it for today's look at the Custer Light Mounting Box.
