Router Bit

The router bit lets you perfectly trim the rail caps without damaging your truck bed. To install the anchors, drill a 1/2" hole in the center of each rail cap and use a router to make the cuts. The bit has 4 roller bearings that guide the router around the inner steel pocket to prevent overcutting the surface of your bedrails. Cut around each perimeter several times so that all the plastic residue resulting from the cuts gets trimmed away. Once the caps have been trimmed, use the rotary saw blade to cut out the inner plastic shaft, then you can install the anchors.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a brief look at this BullRing Stake Pocket Installation Tool Kit. This saw blade bit and router bit kit is going to help you install your BullRing anchors in the covered pockets on your 2009 and later Dodge Ram truck bed rails. This is going to be a very simple procedure. You're just going to simply attach the saw bit to your router to remove the inner plastic edge in your rear stake pockets of your Dodge Ram. And then you're going to use this router bit to trim and smooth the edges out.

Now these bits are going to work with most standard American routers, and this is going to just make the already simple insulation of your BullRing anchors, it's just going to make it even more easier by helping you easily trim out those covered pockets on the rear of your Dodge Ram truck bed rails. Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
