Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this ARB Universal Twin Motor onboard air compressor. Now you're gonna be able to mount this twin air compressor on your rig and make airing up your tires or running air lockers a breeze after a long day out on the trail. This dual compressor setup is going to give you faster performance than a single unit, so you're gonna be able to air up your tires in less time and get back out on the road. The included manifold stores pressurized air to power your air lockers when needed. This has a maximum pressure of 150 PSI with an airflow of 6.16 cubic feet per minute.
The manifold working pressure is 150 PSI and has a duty cycle of 100%. Now for safety and reliability, the system does include thermal protection to prevent motor damage from extreme temperatures, a safety valve to manage pressure buildup, and inline fuses to help guard against overloads or short circuits. This is gonna work with a 24 volt system and just some overall measurements, looking at the overall length from end to end, about 10 and 15/16th inches, almost 11 inches long. The overall width right at about seven and a half inches. And then the overall height right at about four inches, and this weighs about 17 pounds or so.
So it does include everything that you see here. And this twin onboard air compressor is durable. Its high performance setup is designed for serious off roaders. If you want dependable air power wherever the trail takes you. Instructions are also included to guide you through installation and operation.
If you happen to have any other questions, whether it's about this compressor or anything else that we have here at etrailer, don't hesitate to reach out to us. We do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you want. Well, again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
I use my 4runner as a daily driver and off road with it fairly regularly. So usually I have 37ish psi. When I get to the trail I have to air down. Sometimes a bit, sometimes a lot. Makes for a better ride.
So then I either had to use a cheap emergency pump, that overheats and takes forever. Or hope there's a gas station with working air a reasonable distance from the trail so I can get home safely.
I decided to add this dual compressor. It's overkill, but it's flipping awesome. And pretty much everything about off roading is overkill :) so why not...
I aired down to about 12 psi and it got me back to 37 in 1:34 per tire. Pretty dang quick.
For my setup I mounted the compressor under the hood and added an extension hose to mount the coupler by my winch. The compressor comes with a hose and different accessories. I had to add the extension hose and the coupler with the smaller fitting that works with the extension.
Bonus of this is I have been able to help out a buddy in the parking lot, air up my daughters tire without having to go to the gas station, air up my sons basketball and soccer balls (careful it's very quick!)
And my ulterior motive... Now I am set up to add air lockers!
So ridiculous, but so fun!
