Built for trucks with beds shorter than 6 feet, this auto-sliding hitch gives you 22-3/4" of clearance so you can make tight turns with confidence. It mounts to industry standard rails for a straightforward, secure towing setup.
Modern 1/2-ton trucks with beds shorter than 6 feet - like many modern 1/2-ton pickups - leave very little room for fifth-wheel towing. This hitch is designed to let your trailer clear the cab even in tight, low-clearance setups.
As you steer through sharp turns, the SuperGlide automatically shifts your trailer back by 22-3/4" - giving you more cab clearance without needing to stop or make manual adjustments.
With a gross trailer weight capacity of 14,000 lbs and a pin weight limit of 3,500 lbs, this hitch can handle mid-size fifth-wheel campers and toy haulers with confidence. It's a solid solution for weekend adventurers and full-timers alike.
This hitch installs into industry-standard rails (sold separately), making it compatible with many popular ISR rail kits. If you already have ISR rails in your truck, installation is simple and doesn't require modifications.
The dual-pivoting hitch head moves side to side and front to back, helping you line up your trailer more easily on uneven ground. It also softens the ride by absorbing some of the road shock during towing.
When youre not towing, you shouldnt have to wrestle your hitch out of the truck bed. Base wheels make it easier to move and store - so you can free up your truck bed without a fight.
Note: A capture plate (sold separately) is required for this hitch to function properly. It will install on your trailer's pinbox to restrict the kingpin from turning in the fifth wheel plate on the SuperGlide.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a look together at this PullRite ISR Series SuperGlide Auto Sliding Fifth-Wheel Hitch. Now this fifth-wheel hitch is designed specifically for your super short 5 1/2-foot truck beds. And as you probably know, most modern 1/2-ton trucks with beds shorter than six feet, like many modern 1/2-ton pickups, leave little room for fifth-wheel towing. So this hitch is designed to let your trailer clear the cab even in tight, low clearance setups.
Now this is going to mount to your industry-standard rails with the included hardware that you see here. Now the rails are sold separately from what we're looking at together, but you are going to get that hardware that you see on your screen, so that you're gonna be able to mount this to your rails. If you are in need of those industry-standard rails, you can find those options here at etrailer. Now, as you steer through sharp turns, this SuperGlide is going to do the work for you. And this is going to automatically shift your trailer back by 22 3/4 inches.
So just giving it as a demonstration here, just to show you how this is gonna work. I've got tight quarters here, as you can see, so I'm trying to make the best use of the space that I have just so you have a pretty good idea of what to expect with this. But as you can see, this is going to slide back, again, 22 3/4 inches, and it's gonna give you that cab clearance without needing to having to stop or to make manual adjustments, which is a great benefit that this is going to give you. So this does have a gross trailer weight capacity of 14,000 pounds, and a maximum pin weight of 3,500 pounds. And so this hitch can handle mid-size fifth-wheel campers and toy haulers with confidence.
It's gonna be a really solid solution for, especially, like, weekend adventurers and even full-timers alike. So this is equipped with PullRite's patented fully automatic locking jaw. And I just wanted to give you a brief demonstration of that. I've got a kingpin here, so let me come back through here. I do have this open and so I'm just gonna slide this in.
And as you can see, that's how easy this is going to be to secure that around that kingpin. And it's gonna be just as easy to disconnect with our self-locking handle here. So I'm just going to pull that like that, and then that's going to allow me to easily disconnect from the kingpin. Now, this also has a dual-articulating hitch head, it's going to move side to side and front to back. So this is going to give you a smoother ride as you travel over those bumpy roads. And it's gonna allow you to couple and uncouple your trailer on uneven ground. So no jacking, no shimmying your truck and trailer to be level with one another to prevent a false hookup or high hooking. Now I do wanna mention that a capture plate is a required component of this SuperGlide fifth-wheel towing system. This plate is attached to your trailer's skid plate and when you're hooked up into your SuperGlide hitch and ready to tow, that capture plate's gonna isolate the rotation of your trailer's kingpin in the hitch. So the movement and the rotation is then going to be transferred to the automatic cam action here of our fifth-wheel hitch. So instead of getting that turning in your kingpin, you're gonna be getting it here with this instead. So that capture plate's going to allow you to get the maximum benefit that this offers. So most of those capture plates just slip over the kingpin or are held in their place by a set screw. And so it's gonna be quick install, quick removal on your kingpin. So again, that's going to be required for this. To find the capture plate that's gonna work for you, again, those capture plates are fitted specifically for your kingpin. So you can search on our website for the capture plate that's going to work best with your kingpin. So whichever brand of kingpin that you have, just search that with capture plate in our search field on our website and you can find that capture plate that's gonna work best for you. And if you need help finding that capture plate, do make sure to give us a call, 'cause we do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. One other feature that I wanted to mention, and let me zoom out here so you can see. We do have wheels on this, so when you're not towing, you're not gonna have to wrestle your hitch in and out of your truck bed. And this is equipped with built-in wheels. And when you have this in the bed and you don't want it to roll, it has this plate here that you'll just flip underneath the wheels and that'll keep the wheels locked into place. But I have the plate up to allow the wheels to make contact and move. So I'm just gonna come back around here again, and I'm just gonna slide this out a little bit here. But as you can see, as I lift this up, you're gonna be able to easily move this around and that's gonna help you if you need to, like, move this around in your garage to store. But that's really a nice added touch that this has with those wheels. So you're gonna be able to get this positioned where you need it at. Now if you happen to have any other questions, whether it's about this or anything else that we carry, like I mentioned, if you have any questions about the hitch plate, again, feel free to reach out to us because we do wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
