Today we're going to be taking a look at the Florida Mascot 2" Hitch Cover from AMG. The hitch cover's going to allow you to show your school pride, it adds a clean finished look to your hitch, and it's going to help keep dirt and grime out of the receiver tube of your hitch. The hitch cover's made from a steel construction, it's going to feature a really nice black powder coat finish which is going to do a great job at resisting rust and corrosion. Here at the front we're going to have the chrome plated metal emblem. It's got a nice rust-proof and fade-proof design. The product is American made. Here on the backside, they have a foam gasket, this goes around the piece that slides into the hitch. The gasket's going to help reduce rattling between the hitch and the hitch cover.
This is an officially licensed product, it does require a hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock to get it fully installed in your hitch. Those items are sold separately, so if you're in need of one, you can find them here at etrailer.com. The pin holes on this hitch cover will accept the standard 5/8" diameter pin. A few measurements to go over with you real quick, starting with the overall width of the hitch cover face. That's going to give a measurement of about 5". Overall height, that's going to measure about 3 1/2".
Then the distance that we have from the back of the foam pad to the center of the hitch pin hole is going to be pretty close to 2 1/2". This is designed for a 2" by 2" hitch, very simple installation, just slide this piece into the receiver tube of your hitch, line up your pin holes and secure with a hitch pin and clip or hitch lock. That's going to do it for today's look at the Florida Mascot 2" Hitch Cover from AMG.

Like new….still! We just returned from a 6 week, 6000 mile trip pulling this Jeep in all types of weather. I washed the Jeep yesterday, this hitch cover still looks brand new. Good job to whoever made this one.
