Use this plate to keep your trailer's king pin from rotating in your PullRite SuperGlide hitch. A capture plate is required for you to tow with the SuperGlide. This plate fits Lippert 1621 pin boxes with skid plates that are 12-3/4" wide.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this PullRite SuperGlide quick connect capture plate for the 12 and three quarter inch-wide Lippert 1621 pin boxes. Now you're gonna use this capture plate to keep your trailer's kingpin from rotating in your PullRite SuperGlide hitch. Basically this part's gonna allow you to tow your fifth wheel with the PullRite SuperGlide hitch. This will attach to the skid plate that's on your trailer's pin box, and it'll keep the kingpin from rotating in the hitch head. So that'll allow movement of the trailer to be transferred to the hitch so that it can be automatically, or so they can automatically glide to provide the clearance you need for 90 degree turns.
This is designed to work with the Lippert 1621 pin boxes. Now the skid plate on the pin box must measure 12 and three quarter inches wide. Just wanna turn it over and show you what the underside looks like. Now if you notice, it does include this small adjustable nylon block, and that goes up here to where your bolt is in your jam nut, and that nylon block will prevent moaring of your trailer's kingpin box, and also to serve as a tensioning device. Now this does resist corrosion, has a nice durable black powder coat finish on the part.
