Question:

I have a pullrite superglue hitch in my truck that is paired to my Morryde pin box on my 2010 Montana mountaineer fifth wheel. I recently bought a 2015 Forest River crusader. I would like to figure out which capture plate I would need to put on the crusader. It has a shroud over the pin box but there is two numbers on the pin box. A serial number 019-000748238. Also an item number of Lippert, LCI item number 3363332. One additional question would be when I go to sell the mountaineer would I just take that capture plate off of the Morryde pin box so any fifthwheel could haul it and not just the pull rite ?

Hey Randy, thanks for reaching out!

Your 2015 Crusader is equipped with a 1621 pin box (according to my contact at Lippert), so you either need the Adapter # PUL96RR if it's 12-3/4" wide, or the Adapter # PUL46RR if it's 13-1/4" wide.

For your Montana with the capture plate, you're more than welcome to either leave it on and sell it as-is, or take it off and keep it just in case you need it further on down the line with a different trailer. I would just make it clear in the listing that the adapter is on there if you choose to go that route.

Hey Randy, did the adapter you chose for your Crusader work out for you? I'd love to hear how it went, as it could give others confidence when choosing the right capture plate for their setup.

I have not ordered it yet but I am approaching that part of the season where it has to be moved, but will be soon. It is 12 3/4 “ so thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I’ll post a follow up.
