Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this PullRite custom installation kit with base rails for your fifth-wheel trailer hitch. Now, this kit has been designed to fit your 2013 and newer Ram 3500 with the eight foot bed without the OEM prep package. On custom fit parts such as this kit, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com. Input the year, make, and model of your vehicle and our fit guide will confirm if this will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you.
Now, this kit is custom designed for your truck so that there is as little drilling, second guessing, and installing as possible. The mounting brackets, and I do kind of have this loosely put together just to kind of give you an idea of the setup here, what this is going to look like. The mounting brackets are going to install beneath the truck bed to give you attachment points for the above-bed base rails. And then, the base rails themselves are going to give you the necessary mounting points for your fifth wheel hitch. Now, the gross towing weight of this system is 24,000 pounds and this has broad compatibility.
It's gonna be compatible, of course, with PullRite, obviously, B&W Patriot, Curt, Demco, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Husky, and Reese above-bed fifth-wheel hitches, just to name some brands there that this is gonna be compatible with. So again, gross towing weight of 24,000 pounds. This is black powder coated steel, so it's very durable, very strong, very heavy-duty. And hopefully, you can see there on my table, you're going to get all the hardware that you're going to need to get this installed into place along with instructions to guide you through the installation process.
