This Super 5th hitch gives you the strength to pull large fifth-wheel campers or haulers without worry. With a gross towing weight of 16,000 lbs and a vertical load limit of 4,000 lbs, it’s designed for dependable control under serious load. The black powder coated steel resists corrosion, keeping the hitch solid and ready for long hauls year after year.
The automatically latching jaw system takes the guesswork out of coupling. As soon as the king pin slides in, the jaw closes and the handle locks on its own. That automatic action saves time and ensures a secure connection every time you hitch up, with no need to climb in and double-check.
Unlike simple slide-bar designs, the Super 5th uses a precisely laser-cut, wraparound jaw that holds the king pin tight. That means less rattle and a more stable feel on the road. The fit is snug, so your trailer tracks smoothly behind you without the clanking or movement that can make long drives tiring.
The dual-articulating head pivots front-to-back and side-to-side to ease hookup and help limit chucking while you tow. That flexibility keeps both truck and trailer aligned when driving over dips or through tight turns, making towing feel more natural and controlled.
Three height settings let you dial in the right fit for your setup and keep your trailer level. The base weighs 85 lbs with a removable hitch plate that’s 25 lbs, so breaking it down for removal or adjustment is straightforward when you need to clear bed space or fine-tune ride height.

Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the PullRite custom installation kit with the base rails for your fifth wheel trailer hitches. It has a 20,000 pound gross towing weight capacity. Now, this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2020 and newer Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500 and 3500 trucks with the 6-3/4 foot bed and without the OEM prep package. And on a custom fit part like this, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show you if this will work for your application.
Now, the installation kit here will let you mount your fifth wheel trailer hitch into the bed of your truck. The mounting brackets, which I've installed here on the sides, these mounting brackets install beneath your truck bed. And they provide the attachment points for these above bed base rails. The base rails, both of these here, provide the necessary mounting points for your fifth wheel hitch to attach to. Now, the custom fit mounting brackets, these are designed to mount to existing holes in your vehicle's frame to help minimize drilling and measuring, reduces installation time, and it'll even help avoid known obstacles along your truck's frame.
Now, one of the best features on these PullRite brackets are the built-in tabs. That'll be just below, they're on the top of the mounting brackets just below these bolts on each corner. And I want to zoom in and show you where they're located. It's hard to see them because they're underneath, but they're right in here. And what's nice about those tabs, they eliminate one of your biggest problems when installing mounting brackets to your vehicle, which is how to keep the nuts in place when installing the bolts of the mounting brackets.
And basically what they look like, if I pop up this insert, that's the underside, you'll see that tab there. It's a thinner metal. You'll be able to bend that down, slide the nut in there, and then when you put your bolt in, tighten it down, that tab with the slot in it will hold the nut in place. So it allows you to tighten your bolt down without having to access underneath there 'cause usually the problem on most when you install them, like I mentioned, is accessing that nut and bolt to tighten it all down. This makes it a lot easier because once you put that nut in there, all you have to worry about is tightening that bolt down.
Now, this kit is compatible with PullRite, B&W Patriot, the CURT, the Demco, the Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch Husky, and even the Reese above-bed fifth wheel hitches. They do use a black powder coat steel, which is corrosion resistant. Does come with the two base rails, the custom mounting brackets, all the hardware you need for installation, and a nice set of detailed installation instructions on how it all goes together. These parts are made in the USA. And again, the gross towing weight capacity is 20,000 pounds. But that should do it for a look at the PullRite custom installation kit with these base rails for your fifth wheel trailer hitches.

Took our time, install went smooth, measure 3 times before you drill and you will be fine !!!
Great price on this hitch, it also shipped really fast so I could get back on the road. TY
The directions were easy to follow and everything fit right in place. I was able to install myself and it took me about three hours
Great product, and it arrived on time! Thank you much and keep up the great service.
The hitch itself is fine, but the Pullrite packaging needs a lot of work. 3 out of 4 corners of the hitch sheet metal was damaged because the shipping container was only light cardboard and offered no real protection for the hitch. I had to use hammer to pound the corners straight and all is good now.
When purchased the rail kit I verified that no other parts would be needed for the pull rite super glide. When I went to pick up the fifth wheel the super glide would not fit the rails. Luckily the gentleman that I purchased the fifth wheel from had the adapter needed.
It’s a solid product. The mounting bracket puts the hitch 3 inches forward of the rear axle. Make sure you’re okay with that. Also, if you don’t have the overload bracket on the driver’s side, the driver side mounting holes on your truck likely aren’t threaded, as mine weren’t. I had to drop the gas tank to get the bolts into the frame holes from the back side. So don’t start with a lot of gas/diesel in your tank. Take your time and measure thrice. After you drill your first hole, stop and make sure that rail is straight and then also make sure the second rail is square to the one you just drilled. If you don’t, you risk great looking rails that bind up when you try to seat your hitch.
