Speaker 1: Today we're taking a look at the replacement you-bolt safety chain kit for Hide a Goose gooseneck hitches. This kit comes with new you-bolts, springs, flat washers and locknuts.A few measurements I want to go over with you real quick, the diameter is a half inch on the u-bolts, measuring from the bottom of the thread to the top of the u-bolt. That measures three and a half inches, from the bottom of this portion here to the bottom of the threads is about three inches. External width, that's edge to edge, about three and a half. Internal is two and a half. Center on center, the posts are separated on three inch centers.
The threaded portion measures about an inch and a quarter to one and five sixteenths of an inch long.That's going to do it for today's look at the replace U-Bolt safety chain kit for Hide a Goose gooseneck hitches.
I had contacted William, in customer services, with the measurements of the hitch that I had. I could not find any name on the hitch. With Williams assistance, we were able to locate the Safety chain hitches. They were the exact fit, and went in with out any issues, and work great.

The u bolts aren't long enough to lift up to get my chain hooks to go under them.

These fit perfectly replacing the rusted ones in the truck I bought. One was so rusted I couldn't get it up to hook up the safety chains. The hardest part for the installation was getting the old rusty ones out. Ended up having to cut one of them off.
When I purchased the truck it had never had these installed on the hitch. These got me legal and worked perfectly. Excellent quick and built tough.
Perfect fit.....which allowed me to install them in less than 5 minutes. The short video about the product really did it for me, it gave me the confidence that the u-bolts i was purchasing were not only going to fit but allowed me to see other characteristic; diameter, multiple measurememts, etc. Thanks etrailer keep up the good work.
