The Dexter Trailer Hub Assembly # 42655UC1 that you referenced does offer the capacity and wheel bolt pattern you need, 3000-lbs per hub (for your 6000-lb axle) and the 6-on-5-1/2-Inch bolt pattern. These are idler hubs that do not support trailer brakes.
We also offer hub/drum and hub/rotor assemblies with the same capacity and bolt pattern for trailers with brakes and these can be seen on the linked page. We offer EZ Lube, Nev-R-Lube and standard type hubs; you can choose the type you need for your spindles.
If you want to replace your axle and spindles too you will want to select components that are compatible and rated for use with each other.
I have included a link to our main page for axles. We can ship axles rated up to 5200-lbs (but not higher due to shipping weight). You can use the filters in the left margin to narrow down the results to those items that will suit your application. The shortest axles offered are 60-inches overall with spring centers spaced at 48-inches. Your new axle needs to have the same spring center and hub face spreads.
