Do Both SuperSprings SuperSway Stops Need to be Used for Kit to Function
Updated 11/13/2025 | Published 10/24/2025 >
Question:
i purchased supersprings for my 2012 F350 Crewcab 4x4 DRW. without the springs installed and just airbags, only the rear stock overload bump is touching the rear area overload spring on the left and right side of truck. the stock front overload bump is well over an inch above the front of the overload spring area on both the left and right side. is this normal? is the spring supposed to work with both the front and rear stops engaging the overload spring at once. I like the fact that the supersprings thickness can be adjusted for this reason. if both the front and rear should be engaging, it appears i can make the front superspring thicker than the rear in an effort for dual engagement. sorry no pictures, but there wre pics on the FAQs where a gentleman showed exactly what I am experiencing. thoughts on this?

Hey Thomas, with the SumoSpring part # SS65GR you do want to have the front and rear installed on the springs even though only the rear seems to be making contact as is. You want uniform pressure on the front and back otherwise it will just flex further on the side that doesn't have the spring installed if that makes sense. I would also recommend running the same height out of both of them.

Hey Thomas, how did things go after you set up the SumoSprings on both the front and rear of your F350? Did running them at the same height give you the even pressure you were aiming for? Your update could make it easier for others working on a similar setup.
