Looking For A Replacement Lock For My Cargo Door Key CH751

Updated 09/02/2025 | Published 08/11/2025

Question:

I need to purchase a new cargo door lock for my camp trailer. I have a 2014 Rockwood MiniLite 2104 S. One of the cargo door locks went bad on me and I need to replace it. It has the CH751 key and I would like to be able to use that key in the new lock, since it is the same as all of my other cargo door locks. I just need to make sure that I am buying the correct lock. The original lock looks to be about 7/8inch of threads and 5/8inch thick. Is this A520VP the right lock? Thank you

Hey Dustin,

I unfortunately don't have a way to know exactly what was originally on that trailer. However I can say that the key is the same in the # A520VP lock. It is the same CH751 key that you have and the lock cylinder itself is the same 7/8 of thread and 5/8" thickness. With those all matching I would say that is going to be a direct replacement for you. I would need a part number or model off of the actually lock to know if it is a direct replacement. Since the key and dimensions match this is going to work well for you, and you'll be able to use it with the same keys you have.

If you have a photo of the lock as well I can cross reference to see as well.

Hey Dustin, did the A520VP lock work out as a replacement for your cargo door? I'm asking because it could help others who are looking to replace their locks with the same key.
