Do Your Trailer Tires Like AM30150 Come Balanced?

Question:
New boater replacing trailer tires. Looking at AM30150. Do your tires come balanced?

Hey Joseph,
Our trailer tires like # AM30150 do not come balanced. A trailer tire does not need to be balance like a normal vehicles tire would, so ours do not come balanced. Although it never hurts to do it, it is not necessary. Trailer tires are meant to support a load so any vibrations from an unbalanced tire are not felt by the passengers like a vehicles tire would.
You can always have them balanced for a better ride quality. What kind of trailer are you wanting to put these on?

ALL highway rated tires need to be balanced. Doesn't matter if you can feel it or not. Balanced tires will run cooler, last longer, and result in less stress on axle components and cargo regardless of type of trailer or weight. If you are going to be selling tire and rim combos, they should all be balanced before customer installation.

Hey Joseph, Did you decide to have the trailer tires balanced for a smoother ride, or are you going to use them as they are? I'm curious to know your choice, as it could help others who are new to boating and trailer maintenance.
