Adapter to Connect 30 amp RV to 50 Amp Power

Question:
I am a car camper. Many times I have pulled i to a site and there is only a 50amp plug for an RV. Do you have a cord that can plug into that 50amp service and reduce it to a 30amp with a dog bone to plug regular extension cords into? Thank you for your help

Hey Dianne, what you need is a dog bone adapter to go from 50 amp to 30 amp like the Camco Power Grip part # CAM55175. This will plug into the RV park's 50 amp power source and connect it safely to your 30 amp power setup. Having more amperage available than your RV needs won't be a bad thing that affects anything as it just wouldn't be used.
