Hello Nathaniel,
Wow, those are some really nice fishing kayaks! The Yakima LowRider Kayak Trailer # Y82QD will be a perfect fit for you. With a 270-pound weight capacity, it can easily handle your 240-pound load without any issues. I’m especially excited about this trailer for fishing kayaks because of the adjustable crossbars, which allow you to fine-tune the setup to your needs. I’ve heard of other kayak trailers having issues to haul fishing kayaks properly, but this one eliminates those issues.
If you need a trailer jack, I recommend the Trailer Jack w/ Wheel for Yakima LowRider Kayak Trailer # Y54XD. Also, if you don’t already have tie-downs, the Yakima HD Hook Straps with Cam Buckles # Y01165 (one set per kayak) will make securing them easy—they attach directly to the ends of the HD Crossbars on the trailer.
Now that we’ve got the gear covered, I have to ask what do you mainly fish for, and what’s your biggest catch? I fish small local bass tournaments here in Missouri, mostly at Lake of the Ozarks and Mark Twain Lake. I’ve got one this weekend at the Ozarks, and I’m really hoping the fishing improves because it has been ROUGH lately!
