Troubleshooting Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor Not Filling Air Bags

Updated 02/27/2025 | Published 02/25/2025

Question:

Wirelessone compressor will not inflate, comes on for a second and turns off. A few minutes later it does the same thing. Tried various PSI attempts without change. Worked fine last fall. Checked all wire connections and nothing loose. Filled bags with third leg of air line using external compressor and bags hold air with no leaks and when a lower pressure is selected with remote the bags deflate properly. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hey Matt, thanks for reaching out!

It sounds like the compressor from your Air Lift WirelessONE # AL25980 is faulty and that it will need to be replaced. Either the motor is very weak, or the internal check valve is seized and does not allow pressure to enter the bags.

This kit has a 2-year limited warranty so if you're still within that time period I recommend reaching out to Air Lift directly about this via their warranty link: https://www.airliftcompany.com/support/warranty/submit-claim

Let me know how everything plays out!

When I wired in an on/off switch to the negative wire going to the battery, I miss identified the on and off. Evidently the unit still has a ground when the switch is off because it functioned as described above, intermittently but would not inflate. When I turned the switch on (thought was off) unit functioned correctly, inflated and deflated without flaw. Thanks anyway.
