Hey Jeff,
The Jensen stereo in your RV can randomly power for a few reasons. Depending on the model you have you could have a setting checked to turn on when there's a NOAA weather alert. If this is happening when there isn't rain in the forecast then we can rule that out but it wouldn't hurt to roll through the settings any way and make sure this feature isn't turn on. You can also check to make sure there isn't a sleep timer/alarm set that's causing the unit to power on. If your unit has a remote now would also be a good time to check the battery for it as a low battery can also cause this.
The next thing to check would be your connections at the stereo. Do you see any that could be loose or have a cut that could allow them to short? Are you doing anything specifically when the stereo kicks on? Do the lights flicker when the stereo does this? A change in voltage can cause the stereo to turn itself on so your trailer might be seeing a voltage drop from the campsite you're plugged into. A voltage reader like the # HU28FR can show you if the campsite isn't providing enough voltage for your equipment to properly operate.
