Do the GoPower AGM 100AH batteries need exterior venting or can I put four of them in side the camper? I know they are sealed however some AGM car batteries have vents.

Hey Todd,
The Go Power AGM RV Battery # 34276285 would need to be vented to the outside. Most of the time batteries are installed in a front storage pass through and little vents, like the # HMAV2-AVT2, can be added to a wall or compartment door to allow for air flow into the compartment. I would take come paper or cardboard and cut it down to four pieces measuring 12" long x 8-3/16" tall x 6-5/8" wide to place into your storage space and get an idea of how the batteries will need to sit and look for a good spot to install ventilation.
Depending on the layout of the space you might need to switch some things up or go with a different vent. You'll also want to figure out how the wiring is currently ran to make sure you can reroute it accommodate the new batteries.

Hi Kevin, Thank you for the response and for the good advice. I've decided to just mount two AGM batteries on the tongue of our travel trailer instead of using four of them inside the trailer. That way I don't have to worry about the venting. If I decide I need more power in the future, I'll get Lithium batteries that can be stored inside the camper. Thanks again!
