How to Know if 2025 Casita Freedom Deluxe Converter Needs to be Upgraded for LifePO Batteries

Question:
Im purchasing 2025 Casita Freedom Deluxe with factory lead/acid battery and factory converter. If I want to upgrade to Lifpo 300ah battery at a later date what else will I need to replace?

Hey Timothy!
With a newer RV your converter might be able to switch over to the LifePO if your system has a setting like that. If it doesn't have a setting that allows you to switch it, then we'll need to get you setup with a converter that's compatible with LifePO batteries.

Will do. I drive to Texas to pick up a new Casita in March I decided to opt out of their solar option as they don't really offer much info on make and model of components so no way to assess whether the $2000. price tag is worth it. Might be with cost of after build labor cost.
