Does the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Have A Stop Tab
Updated 01/05/2026 | Published 09/26/2024 >
Question:
Since this hitch is class 1 does it have a stop tab in the receiver tube? I ask because I’d prefer my bike rack slide as far into the hitch as possible. This way my bike isn’t hanging further off the back of the car than necessary. I’m using a 1up quick rack

Hey George yes, the Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Htich # 24942 does have the stop tab built into the receiver tube. I did a quick bit of research on your 1UP rack and it looks like it was actually designed to work with 1.25" receivers so you won't have any issues with the tab and it should slide all the way in.

Hey George, how did things turn out with your 1UP rack and the Draw-Tite Sportframe hitch? Did it slide in the way you were hoping so your bikes sit closer to the car? Your update could make it easier for the next person setting up the same combo.
