Question:
Could you suggest a remedy for a loose 2inch ball mount. It seems to have too much play where it slides in and constantly clunks when I am towing a uhaul trailer. There seems to be about 1/16inch gap on all sides of the ball mount when it is in the receiver. It just doesnt seem snug.

I have a couple different options on ways to fix a loose ball mount.
The Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin, # SHP2061, dramatically reduces any movement or vibration between your hitch and hollow shank ball mount.
The No-Rattle Trailer Hitch Wedge, # MPG908, will take up play and eliminate rattle.
The Roadmaster Quiet Hitch, # RM-061, helps eliminate rattle and sway within your hitch receiver.

Bought brand new Tacoma with tow package then new travel trailer. Receiver hitch hole for locking pin is about 3/16” larger diameter than pin creating too much play. Trailer was constantly pulsing In & out. Returned trailer to rv shop. They said Toyota receiver is defective. Toyota says it isn’t. What can I do?
