Recommended Cable Lock for a Roof Rack Kayak

I need a retractable cable lock to secure a canoe to my Malone Airflow 2 cross bars. How do I attach a ToyLok cable lock to the VW Tiguan? I do not have a trailer hitch. Seeking elegant, durable solution. Thank you!

I do not have an elegant or even functional way to attach the ToyLok Stake Pocket Mounted Retractable Cable Lock item # LC337120-337112 to a roof rack. This is designed to mount in the stake pockets of a pickup truck and weighs over 10 lbs. It would make a ton of noise too.
We don't have any retractable cable locks that work with roof racks and I am not sure they're out there. The retractable locks are typically built into whatever carrier you are using. I recommend using a standard cable lock like the Malone LockUp Cable Lock - 10' Long item # MPG357. These are super light weight and easily roll up to be stored out of sight.
