Solution for Needing Replacement Disc Brake Componentts for Venture Boat Trailer # VATB-5225
Question:
HI, I have a Venture double axle aluminum boat trailer, model VATB-5225. I pulled the rear axle wheels off, and the rotors are very corroded and the outer pads almost gone. Also one side the inner seal had failed. Thinking about replacing the rotors, pads and hubs, but Im not seeing matches. The current rotors are Sturdy Built 26381, have 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern and measure 11 in diameter. The Calipers are Sturdy Built 225 not stainless. - What would be the correct rotors either coated galv or other or stainless? For the 11 OD I do not see a 5 x 4.5 hub. - What are the right brake pads? - And the hubs 5 x 4.5 fit on an axle with 1.72ID inside bearing and 1.062ID outside bearing. Is there a galv or stainless with packed bearings? A lot of questions, thanks.

Hey Ken, so what you have on your trailer is a 3,500 lb axle which we can help with but since the calipers you have are a brand we don't carry you would need to go with an all new kit since nothing we have would let you reuse them since the alignment would be wrong.
So you could go with the DeeMaxx Disc Brake Assembly Kit part # DE89YR for all of the spindles and you'd have everything you needed to get the parts you need and your trailer going again.
