Kenny, those bolts for the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVK3500-5W should be torqued to 40 ft. lbs. Also, the pivot arms would need to be torqued to 80 ft. lbs, the draw down bolt should be tighten to 60 ft.lbs and the arms should be tightened to 110 ft. lbs.

I found specs on everything but the foot pads. I am unable to tighten them. They just spin, all four.this is concerning. I didn’t install this hitch so I’m playing catch up on information regarding operations and tightness . I’m Torquing everything for this seasons Traveling. Thanks for information

@BryceD I have the same questions and issue that the foot pad bolts just spin. I am about to climb underneath the truck to see if I can see what's going on - any idea why the footpad bolts are spinning?

@Betty Hey Betty, those bolts might be free-spinning for several reasons. Most commonly there is a stripped thread, the nut being engaged with an unthreaded portion of the bolt, or a buildup of rust/debris. The nut could also be spinning freely because the bolt is too long, or the bolt and nut are not engaging properly due to damage or misalignment.
