Replacement Seal For An Older Meyer ST-90 Snow Plow
Question:
Hi There. My older Meyers snowplow cylinders are leaking hydraulic oil on my garage floor so I suspect it is time to replace seals. The cylinder is 10 inch x 1 1/2. Can you suggest which seal kit I need to fix this leak? Also, is this a difficult job and do you happen to have or recommend a how to video that shows how to accomplish this task? Thank you

Hi Greg, so the ST-90 plows have been discontinued since 2009 I believe, but I was able to find a manual on the Meyer website. The manual indicates that the cylinder on the ST-90 uses the 07705 seal, for which our seal # 3371305100 will be the correct replacement. The 1-1/2" x 10" cylinder in your picture looks identical to the one in the manual, so it definitely should work.
I am afraid we do not have any videos or manuals that we can send for replacing the seal. From why understand replacing them should not be too hard, if you are familiar with working on snowplows and such. We may have an installer in your area if you would rather take it somewhere. I have linked our installer locator for your below.
