Solution for 2017 GMC Sierra 3500 Service Trailer Brake Error EOH Actuator

Question:

I have 2017 Sierra 3500 my brakes work fine with electric but eoh I get service trailer brakes .. wondering if I should get the Curt wireless or it’s annoying to keep linking my phone to It every time I drive .. do you have another easy option to fix this ?

If you have a Hydrastar brand actuator on your trailer you could use the part # HBA-CAM and this would take care of your problem. But this only fits the Hydrastar actuators. If it's a Dexter BrakeRite you could use the part # T4845900.

If you have a different brand of actuator then you could technically use the part # DX35FR as this (and the others) basically are designed to simulate the draw of electric brake magnets to allow the brake controller to sense that a trailer is connected.
