Question:
I have ordered two sets if towers for my 2004 Chevy Tahoe to no avail. The 74010 and the 740105 recommended to me by Thule customer service. Both sets if towers come up short and and arent long enough to grab under the raised rail. Might you have a solution? Frustrsted.

Expert Reply:
The Thule towers you mentioned are the right ones per them, but if those don't work there is one other option, from Yakima. I checked with them and they verified their TimberLine towers are a fit, so you can use the following on your 2004 Chevy Tahoe Z71:
- Yakima JetStream Crossbars # Y00426
- TimberLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars # Y33TR
