Question:
Just installed a new 20099 breakaway switch on my stock trailer. Tested it and its working fine but the yellow charging indictor light does not come on when plugged into tow vehicle. Apparently it is supposed to. Is this a problem?

Assuming you have 12V power running to your # 20099 the amber charging light should be on if the battery is not fully charged. If this is not something that your trailer has that is fine. Instead, you will have to charge the battery using a trickle charger.
If you do have power running to the battery the light should be working. I would double check your wiring, or even test it with a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to make sure power is running to it. It would also be a good idea to double check your ground connection.
