I am looking for a replacement brake actuator hitch on a boat trailer, the problem I am running into is the channel is 4 inches wide.

I do have a potential solution for you, but we do not offer a surge brake actuator designed to fit over a 4" channel.
Your best bet would be to use a weld on actuator like the Demco # DM8759922, which can be welded to the top of the tongue. You'll want to use a professional welder to do this for you.
