Correct Replacement For Demco DA20 Actuator For Drom Brakes

Updated 08/01/2024 | Published 07/31/2024

Question:

I have a 2006 Belshe equipment trailer. Belshe support says it uses DEMCO DA20. Will this master cylinder work? I’m assuming I should use DOT 3 brake fluid. Also does the DA20 have any grease points? Or other maintenance to keep up with?

Hey Jessica,

The # DM8101222 is the actuator as opposed to a master cylinder, so I believe you are referring to the actuator itself. This is the DA10 and you can use it in place of the DA20 # DM8202032 if you like.

You are right in your assumption regarding DOT 3 brake fluid, and the DA10 as well as DA20 do not have any type of maintenance or grease necessary.
