Hello, I am looking for a replacement hub kit for 1998 Load Rite boat trailer. Known trailer specifications: Model 16-1501R Hull Length 15’-17’ Caring Capacity 1500 Tires 4.80 12C Approximate Weight 289

To find the right hubs for your 1998 Load Rite boat trailer you'll need to measure the spindle to find the correct bearing size, determine the capacity of the axle, and measure for your wheel's bolt pattern.

You'll need to measure your spindle with a set of calipers # PTW80157 at points B, C, and D to get the grease seal and bearing sizes. I've attached a help article below that will walk you through measuring for your wheel bolt pattern. If your axle doesn't have a tag on it anymore then use the set of calipers to measure the diameter of the tube and that will give us a better idea of what capacity it could be.

The last thing I'll need to know is if your trailer has drum brakes or is just using an idler hub. Once we get all the information I'd be happy to help you find the correct hubs for your trailer.
