In order to install a trailer brake controller on a 2015 Ford F-150, I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90195 which is one of the most popular and reliable options. It will also feature a plug-in install when combined with the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers part # 22292. I went ahead and looked in the owner's manual for you and found that the fuse for the trailer brake controller is located in the #49 slot, it's a 30 amp fuse. If you don't have power to the brake controller once plugged in this is the first thing you should check.
