The 39H adapter indicates 3 1/8inch w x 1inch h bars. What would the 23H dimensions be?

The Mighty Mount 39H # Y03539 and 23H # Y03523 Accessory Adapters are pretty much the same thing and will be compatible with 3-1/8" wide x 1" tall crossbars.

The biggest difference between these adapters is that the 39H is designed specifically around the Yakima CoreBar and JetStream crossbars while the 23H is geared more towards factory crossbars which can be a little thinner which is why this kit comes with the shims for a better fit if necessary.

So you just need to choose the adapter that fits best with your scenario; if you have a Yakima aero-style crossbar go with the 39H, but if you have a factory aero-style roof rack go with the 23H.
