Troubleshooting Difficult to Remove Kurt Transfer V2 Bike Rack From Trailer Hitch

Question:
My Kuat Transfer V2 cannot be removed from the hitch without extraordinary difficulty. It just wont slide out even though it slides in with ease. What can I do?

I have a hitch cargo carrier that is the same way and it's basically just the result of tighter clearances in the hitch tube. The good news is that it means there's less slop and movement in the hitch when travelling but removing the accessory from the hitch is challenging. What works the best for me is to pull out while at the same time moving the (in your case the Kuat Transfer # KU74FR) up and down and side to side. This will allow it to inch it's way out. I've found that up and down seems to be the most effective.
Over time it will get a little bit easier as the hitch tube will start to get more clearance worked into it.
