Recommended Hitch for a 2023 Mazda CX-9

Question:

hello I am looking for a class 3 and harness for lights for a2023 mazda cx9. I only see class 3 for 2022 when I choose 2023 it says it does not fit this vehicle. any help thank you

To add a class III hitch to your 2023 Mazda CX-9 you will want the Draw-Tite Trailer hitch item # 76020. This hitch is custom fit and attaches to your Mazda with included hardware. I verified with Draw-Tite that this hitch will fit the 2023 models.

For a custom fit wiring harness you will want the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package item # 118278. This fits the models with the factory towing package. We do not have any other options for your vehicle.

To attach a 4-way wiring harness to the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver item # 76020 you will want to use the Mounting Bracket for 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # BK4F. This bracket will attach to the pre drilled tab on the Draw-Tite hitch. None of the 4-way wiring harnesses for any vehicle include this bracket.

To round out your towing setup I recommend the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534. This towing kit will provide you with a 2" ball and a fixed ball mount with a 3/4" rise and 2" drop. It also includes a hitch pin and clip, hitch receiver lock with keys, hitch cover, and a storage case.
