Does Kat's Heaters Thermal Battery Wrap Have a Thermostat?
Published 09/28/2022 >
Question:
Do the battery thermal blanket heaters have a built in thermostat to turn them off/on depending on the outside temperature?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Kat's Heaters Thermal Battery Wrap # KH22200 does not have a thermostat included with it for an auto on/off function so if you don't want it to be on your battery all the time you'll need to set a timer and keep an eye on it.
Kat's Heaters recommend connecting the heating pad an hour or two prior to starting your vehicle so that at least gives you an idea of what kind of timer to set.
