If your 2005 Ram 3500 has a service body on it then yes the Buyers Products Class 5 Service Body Hitch Receiver # 3371801050L would be your best option for a trailer hitch but you should not it is a multi-fit style hitch which means it will take some fabrication to install.
If your truck has a standard bed on it we have better options that are custom fit like the Draw Tite part # 65046 which fits if you have the factory hitch or the Curt # C15809 which fits if you are without the factory trailer hitch. These don't require any fabrication and are Class V like the Buyers Product hitch you mentioned.
