Bike Rack Recommendation for Magnum Pathfinder T e-Bike on Airstream Trailer Hitch
Question:
Will this accommodate 3 inch tires? Looking for a carrier for an ebike: Magnum Pathfinder T It will install in a airstream 2 inch hitch Also is there a flat cable extension available that I could run it from my truck to the back of the trailer @ 30? Thanks

The Kuat Piston Pro X Bike Rack # KU98VR can carry bikes with up to a 5" wide tire so it will have no problems with your 3" wide tires. With that being said, we will need to look at a different bike rack for 2 reasons; Kuat doesn't list the Piston Pro X as being safe to use on a travel trailer so if any damage occurs it won't be covered under warranty, and the Pathfinder T has a large rear fender that will get in the way of the wheel holders.
For a bike rack that's rated for use on a travel trailer and can accommodate your Magnum Pathfinder T I recommend the Swagman E-Spec Bike Rack # S94FR instead. This can handle 70 lb bikes with 3" wide tires and it has a super solid body style that can easily handle the extra movement at the back of a trailer. Since your bike has a step-thru frame you're also going to need the Adapter Bar # 64005 so the frame hook on the rack has something to connect to.
Attached are some review videos for you to check out. If you are wanting to add a light kit to this bike rack I recommend using the Hopkins Easy-Pull Harnesses # HM38136 and # HM48044 along with the Curt LED Light Kit # C53201.
