Question:
Hello. I have a journey brake controller 52740 from a 1997 Ford F-250. It plugged right into the truck under the dash. I have a new truck now and I think I need a pigtail to use it on my 2005 Ford F-150 to plug in under dash. Do you sell this?

Expert Reply:
I do have an option for you but we don't carry any vehicle specific trailer brake controller wiring harnesses for a 2005 Ford F-150 as the controller is discontinued and no longer made. That said, if you remove the plug from the unit and the brake controller side plug from the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter part # 3035-P you can wire it up without splicing into the vehicle.
It might also be time for an upgrade and in which case I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller part # 90885 which is one of our best selling options due to functionality and reliability.
