Updated 11/01/2024 | Published 04/14/2022

Question:

I have a 1994 18 ft. dutchmen travel trailer. It has a marshall model 230 prpane regulator for two propane tanks. It works fine except the tank fullness indicator on top of the regulator. Can you remove the indicator and put in a brass plug.

The replacement we have for your Marshall 230 Model Gas Regulator is the Vertical 2-Stage Propane Regulator - 160,000 Btu/Hr # CAM59313. If yours is still working fine I wouldn't recommend messing with it unless you are going to replace it altogether. Either way I can't advise you to use your regulator in a way that's not intended.

The replacement for the Marshall 230 that you are showing won't let you know when your tank empty. Bill
