Will Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Bags Fit 2009 Ford F-150 FX4 With 6 Inch Lift
Question:
I have a 09 f150 fx4 with a 6 inch bds lift . Will this unit work on my vehicle. I use it to tow my drag car on a 18 ft car hauler. When I load the bed with tools and the trailer I get quite a sag. So hoping this will take care of my issue. Thanks

Yes, the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Springs w/ Internal Bumpers # AL88200 will fit your 2009 Ford F-150 FX4 with a 6" lift with the addition of a spacer.
In order to determine which spacer is right for your truck the first time, you will need to measure the distance between where the upper and lower mounting bracket would be installed. Subtract 6" from that number and you will find the correct spacer height. More than likely you need the 6" spacer which is # AL52460 or the 4" spacer which is # AL52440. With the correct spacer installed this will definitely help take care of your issues with sag from your tools and trailer.
I would also recommend adding an air compressor like the Air Lift Load Controller Compressor System # AL25856. This will allow you to control the air pressure no matter where you are from the cab of your truck. It is a dual path system so you can control each air bag together or individually.
