Malfunctioning Motion Sensor In RV Security LIght
Published 02/23/2022 >
Question:
The motion sensor light in my camper looks exactly like this only it is white and it doesn’t have that extra little thing down in the lower right corner. My camper is brand new I just picked it up a week ago and this light has been blinking on and off every 10 to 15 seconds ever since it’s been plugged in. I cannot figure out how to turn it off it obviously isn’t working properly so I would just like to replace it however I can’t figure out how to get it off the wall for now until I can get a replacement. Any instruction you can give me would be helpful once I have it off the wall and there’s no longer a blinking light inside then we can talk about getting a replacement. The dealership where I bought my camper is not helpful at all and it’s been very difficult to sleep with a blinking light. Thank you so much for your help

Do not worry we will treat you great here.
You have a faulty motion sensor or there is a short inside the unit.
If it is a new unit and is in fact the LED RV Security Light - Motion Detector - Surface Mount - Clear Lens - Warm White # CE76FR then there is a 1 year warranty on it.
It is only a two wire set up and the black face will pop off if you use a flat head screw driver and pry it back from the top. Then you can see the wires and disconnect it.
The new unit will not come with hardware so make sure you safe the hardware you have so you can reuse it.
If there is anything else don't hesitate to ask another question and we will get you the solution you need.
