This weight capacity is the weight limit of the rack when the vehicle is stopped. However, given that the Rhino-Rack RVP Roof Rack # RR87QJ attaches to your fixed mounting points in the flush rails on your 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe, it will be able to support people in a roof top tent as long as you do not exceed the weight capacity of the tent or the overall weight capacity of the roof.
